Cardio day! I am beginning to like it! #195by50
I am fascinated at watching how my body responds to different food.
For example, I was under my calorie goal yesterday. But, I chose to eat boneless wings and chips and salsa with my friend at BWWs during the Tigers game.
I retained a lot of water from carbohydrates. “Gained” a pound. It will disappear by tomorrow, maybe even in a few hours after I exercise. Our bodies are fascinating.
Currently reading: Slow Theology by A. J. Swoboda and Nijay Gupta 📚
I just read this: “To pursue Jesus is to pursue truth.”
As I ponder that it strikes me again that that to point people to truth is simply pointing the toward Jesus. Which means if we seek to do that, we must do our best to mirror Jesus to the world.
Oh, how I woefully fall short. May God have mercy.

The thing I love about Saturdays in the fall are the friends that rotate in and through the house during college football games.
I hit my workout goals this week!
I lifted Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Cardio days on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
It is amazing how good your body can feel when you give it good food and move regularly. #195by50
Another good non-scale victory today. It would have been really easy to skip this morning. I didn’t. It felt great to lift today! #195by50

All in all a good day. The misses were close, just a few grams. I can’t wait to the gym tomorrow!
