@GrahamDowns that’s a fair interpretation. I think something to wrestle with is the allegorizing of God into every parable. The parable of the talents in Matthew 25 is a tricky one because of the description of the landowner that seems countra the nature of God. @Ryan
@GrahamDowns I think that’s definitely the heart of the message of the laborers in the vineyard.
It gets trickier with the second parable.
I think though, we just have to be careful about which parables we try to allegorize. I’m not sure it’s always necessary to find parallels. @Ryan
