Regardless of the outcome, what a baseball game. What a series.

Everything that is beautiful about baseball is this game.

Tonight, Amy and I went out for dinner at Bellflower in Downtown Ypsilanti. The food, ambience, and service were outstanding!

This might be the single most challenging book Iโ€™ve read in the last few years. The good kind of conviction on every page.

I am fascinated at watching how my body responds to different food.

For example, I was under my calorie goal yesterday. But, I chose to eat boneless wings and chips and salsa with my friend at BWWs during the Tigers game.

I retained a lot of water from carbohydrates. โ€œGainedโ€ a pound. It will disappear by tomorrow, maybe even in a few hours after I exercise. Our bodies are fascinating.

I just read this: โ€œTo pursue Jesus is to pursue truth.โ€

As I ponder that it strikes me again that that to point people to truth is simply pointing the toward Jesus. Which means if we seek to do that, we must do our best to mirror Jesus to the world.

Oh, how I woefully fall short. May God have mercy.
